NHSEB Announces 2023-2024 NHSEBBridge Micro-Grant Recipients

Earlier this year, the National High School Ethics Bowl announced an addition to the NHSEBBridge initiative designed to support our community in new and creative ways—a series of small grants (between $200 and $1,000) for Regional and Divisional Partners of the National High School Ethics Bowl program. NHSEBBridge Micro-Grants are designed to provide support for crucial outreach initiatives among members of our extended community, including, but not necessarily limited to: coaching assistance programs, team travel, recruiting initiatives, advocacy materials, and training/recruiting events.

We are proud to announce the following six NHSEB community members and their proposed projects as funding recipients for our inaugural grant cycle in 2023-2024:

  • Mitchell Green, Organizer, Connecticut High School Ethics Bowl: The CHSEB Coaching Initiative

  • Dustin Webster, Organizer, Philadelphia High School Ethics Bowl: Coach Recruiting/Retention Stipends

  • Susan Russinoff, Organizer, New England High School Ethics Bowl: Staffing Support for Regional Competition

  • Matthew Masur, Organizer, New Hampshire High School Ethics Bowl: Training Invitational Ethics Bowl

  • John Siegrist, Coach, Philadelphia High School Ethics Bowl: In-School Program Startup Funds

  • Krystal Anderson, Coach, Arkansas High School Ethics Bowl: In-School Program Startup Funds

We look forward to seeing the impact of these initiatives in our community, and to sharing the outcomes of these terrific projects in the Spring. You can learn more about the NHSEBBridge Micro-Grant program or start thinking about a future application here.
